Somehow we have made it to the end of July and soon the summer sales are going to give way to back to school. I thought to give you some fall style inspiration I would go back into the archives and round up 15 of my favourite fall outfits from over the years. You can’t go wrong with a wrap coat. I got mine last year at Zara and it was large enough to all for layering into winter as well. I love a big scarf to keep me warm on a cool morning and then just take it off it it warms up in the afternoon.

Sleeveless jackets and coats are perfect for fall. On those days where it is cool but not truly cold but you need more of a layer. The boots are a pair of my most worn boots ever.

One of the things I love about fall is wearing cozy sweaters. The one above is assymetric giving it a cool shape. Also wearing the OG of blanket scarves, the one that started it all. The velvet pants are ones I live in through the fall and winter. I have them in multiple colours!

A sweater dress is a cozy option for fall but paired with a blanket scarf this outfit really pops. You don’t have to tie your big scarfs the same way every time. Wearing it belted really works.

Hi Jane, thanks for the great ideas. Fall is my favourite season for clothing, but I find it tricky here in Canada - I feel like we often get lovely Indian summers, then whoops! it's winter!
By the way, I asked you a while ago about a bag strap you featured and I wanted to tell you that I have found a Canadian alternative - http://www.amysteelebags.com/product/shoulder-strap The price isn't too bad (includes shipping I believe); I think I will order the navy and red, it will look great with my red Opelle Lotus bag.

Yes we don't have a long transition season. Fall seems to be pretty much winter without the snow! Great find on the straps. I think the navy and red will look great!
