This past week the temperatures plunged and I had to dig out a warmer coat so that I didn’t freeze. I should know better I mean it is only April and it is Canada but I was hoping that I could just layer up a trench coat. But it wasn’t going to cut it.
A bunch of my orders arrived this week. I have been taking advantage of the sales that even brands that never have sales have been throwing. I don’t want to encourage anyone to shop right now if you can’t afford it because of all the shut downs. But if you are still working and have the disposable income there are so many great deals right now worth sharing.
I picked up this bag. Their leather bags are such good quality and they had a sale last month. I will be doing a full review but I love the zippered middle pouch area. It is almost like carrying a tote with a zippered section in the middle. So you can stick in large files or a laptop in the non zippered sections but still have the security of the zippered part for your wallet.
I picked up these boots on sale. I found them via this pin. How cool are these boots?! Plus they arrived super fast considering they shipped from Australia. They have an edgier vibe but I like that mix of tough girl mixed with more polished classic pieces.
I broke down and ordered this duvet cover. We have gone to a two duvet system in our King bed. When we have traveled to Europe we saw that it was more likely two twin duvet covers and that way you didn’t have to worry if one person was a cover hog. I had a single duvet from when my son was in a single bed but I didn’t have a duvet cover that didn’t have something like Batman on it. This one is much more my style.
The Sephora sale is starting if you are VIB. I plan on stocking up on my favourites like this vitamin C serum, this and this for my hair. I also love this lip balm. I should also stock up on this face cream.
Nordstrom finally opened their Canadian site and I decided to update my bras. I wanted to try out a Natori bra and see what the fuss was all about. I haven’t worn it enough to say for sure but the initial try on was super comfy and supportive. I tried this one but would also like to try this option too.
We are currently binge watching The Boys. Which is a flipped on its head superhero story. We have also watched The Hunters and Collateral. Bosch just dropped. I know we will be watching that next.
