What I wore on my face last week

Continuing with my attempt at wearing makeup more regularly, particularly to the office, I am coming at you with another installment of what I wore on my face. Sharing all the makeup products I have been loving and wearing reguarly.

what I wore on my face

There are a few tweaks but most of what I wore on my face this week was similar to what I shared previously. Some tweaks were for products I picked up in the Sephora sale.

Base – Dr. Dennis Gross Tinted Moisturizer – I have mentioned this a few times but I am going to say it again I like this because it feels like there really isn’t much of anything on my face. I hate when I feel weighed down by foundation and this is the opposite.

Powder – Laura Mercier Invisible loose setting powder – I don’t always wear powder but I do like the look of my makeup when I use this. It tones down the dewy look so I don’t look like an oily mess.

Bronzer – Becca Sunlit bronzer – While I like how tinted moisturizer or foundation evens out my skin tone I don’t really love the look of just foundation. I guess no one does really. I feel human again once I add bronzer. I just add some to my temples and hollows of my cheeks, maybe a bit to my jawbone.

Highlighter – Becca Highlighter – Highlighter might not be necessary but I do like the glow it gives. So pretty! I put a bit on my cheekbones for a day at the office but don’t go overboard.

Blush – Becca Mineral Blush – This is the prettiest shade. I can’t skip this or the bronzer. I love that it goes on pretty light so you don’t automatically have to blend to keep from looking clownish.

You will notice I haven’t mentioned a concealer. Since I have been using this and this I haven’t found that I need it as much. I don’t use these at the same time but honestly it is a toss up which works better.

Eyes – Nars Velvet shadow stick – I find these the easiest way to do eye makeup in the morning. A few swipes a bit of blending with my finger and just enough to look finished without being overly done.

Mascara – Monsieur Big Mascara – I never really feel finished until I have a few swipes of mascara. This one give me big lashes.

Lips – Dior Addict Lip Glow – this is the hero product of this whole look. I have no lipstick on. These perfect pink moisturized lips are from the lip glow product that chemically reacts to give everyone their perfect pink.

Do you have any hero products that you can’t live without?
