Long time no post. It just didn’t feel right for a long time to be posting. Covid protests, war in Ukraine. My kids had some sort of stomach flu and we are very busy at my day job. But I have been buying things and trying things so I thought I share some of this to distract from all the of world issues.
What I bought and What I liked for Spring
Sezane – I have done a couple orders from Sezane. The favourite item is the sweater in these pictures. It sells out regularly and I know why. Perfect transition season sweater. I also got some great tops to go with high waisted pants in the summer (this and this). Detailed reviews to come.
Everlane – I haven’t bought from Everlane in a while. The Long Mac coat in the pictures is from there. I love the length and how it is built for layering (no tight arms) but I feel like the fabric could have had more heft to it.
Boden – I love Boden swim suits. And when I saw this one I was all in. A bit less supportive than the other styles I have from them but another win. I also got this dress for my daughter and it is super cute.
In addition to the Boden bathing suit I have been trying some other styles. This one that you can wear a bunch of different ways. This one has such a unique pattern. I bought this for my daughter. It looks so good! I already love that brand for their swim shirts, but their swim suits are great too. I am also trying out these styles (this and this ) for my husband and son. The thing they have in common is no mesh lining but a soft compression lining instead.
Nordstrom – I ordered this dress and promptly sent it back. One someone tall and slim it would look great. But on me it was a big no. The tie waist was not in a good spot. I have inexpensive dresses that do a better job of this style.
I was hoping to find some dresses for summer but I haven’t really been that excited about anything. OR the stuff I did like was a bit pricey and I wasn’t sure the sizes would work.
If I had to choose one thing that turned out the best I would chose this sweater. This style regularly sells out and I get it now. It is a winner.
