What I bought and I liked February

It has been a while since I did a round up of what I bought and I liked. Some of these will be going back to closer to Christmas but I haven’t shared anything about them. Others are from this past week. So here we go What I bought and I liked for February.

What I bought and I liked

  1. This chopping tool has been on my radar for ages since Grace recommended something similar last year. I decided I needed it last week when I cut my finger slicing peppers. This chops things so easily. Even potatoes. I wish I had of bought it sooner. I haven’t even tried all the attachments and I am already sold.
  2. When our kids were little most of our glasses were plastic. But I am so over plastic glasses! But some of the glass glasses I have bought in the past few years have broken so easily. These are heavy duty and so pretty. They look like they should be super expensive. But they aren’t.
  3. I originally was thinking about trying this to replace my favourite makeup remover/ cleansing balm that is no longer available in Canada. But I ended up buying it for my daughter as a first cleanse. She has hormonal teenager skin and using a cleansing balm isn’t just for removing makeup. It also helps with cleansing oily skin. She is adamant that it is helping and I notice a difference too.
  4. I bought these boots for myself for Christmas. I have them at the office because I have them in brown suede which isn’t great with snow but works fine for office wear. They are super comfortable and very chic looking. The only thing is they are a bit annoying to get on. I am not sure if you are supposed to just leave them buckled and pull them on? But that doesn’t work for me. The buckles on the outside ankle are harder or rather more awkward to do up than you would think!
  5. I am a sucker for a cute tee with a french slogan. I bought an XL in this as I don’t want the t-shirt to be tight. This tee also comes in navy now.
  6. I am all about easy makeup when I in fact wear it. I used to love the Nars Velvet Shadow stick but they don’t really seem to be around anymore. Or at least not at Sephora? I tried these from Rare Beauty and they are fantastic! I now have these in 3 or for shades. Just so easy to use, lovely colours and blend so easily.
  7. I bought these sandals for an up coming trip. I have only tried them on this point and they are lovely. The leather is so soft. But I haven’t really walked in them anywhere except around my bedroom. I mean it is February and we have snow so sandals aren’t really appropriate yet. These will sell out when the weather gets warm though so I wanted to jump on them while there are still sizes.
  8. These make putting together a lunch so easy. I used to have a sandwich container and then a bunch of smaller containers for fruit and goldfish etc. Now I just need one container. So. Much. Easier. I actually started with these and when a few broke after more than a year of use I got the oval style which is slightly bigger. They actually have a bunch of useful styles.

Have you bought anything lately that you want to rave about?
