After my last Varley order was a resounding success I have been keeping tabs on what I wanted to try next. The Varley Slim Cuff Pant looked like an elevated take on the sweat pant. As someone who was never really able to make them look anything but schleppy I wanted to see if these were a true fancy sweat pant. My Varley Slim Cuff Pant review will share what I think of these modern sweats.
Varley Slim Cuff Pant Review
The Varley Slim Cuff Pant is a tailored sweat pant that comes in two lengths. I have the 25″ and there is also a 27.5″. These pants are made in the Varley Double Soft fabric which is a blend of Viscose and Polyester.
Double Soft is a very apt name as these are super soft. Similar softness to the Vuori joggers but the cut is so superior. The fabric drapes nicer too. Perhaps the difference is the viscose?
I don’t know but what I know is that I like these better on me than the Vuori joggers other influencers rave about. They are more curve friendly.
These are more what I would call a fancy sweat pant. You could wear these with a sweater, a wool coat and some boots and they would look like a cool black pant. I have never felt this way about sweat pants ever. I would wear these to travel no question. You could probably even style them for the office.
Size wise I got the extra Large. According to the size chart the XL is a size US 12 but I would argue that it fits closer to a 14. Either way I love the fit because they are much looser on my legs than the Vuori styles.
Length wise I got the 25″. I am not tall and these are fantastic. If you are 5’6 or taller I would probably get the longer option.
These come in a few different neutral shades. Since I think these are so good I would try these without the cuff as well. There is also a more relaxed option.
Varley has quickly become one of my favourite brands. I love the idea of actually fashion forward activewear that is designed to look cool and fashionable. And looks great on bodies that have hips and curves. This is going in my Christmas box and I already have a list of other styles to try.
