True & Co Bra Review for a Big Bust

Not everyone is a fan of the bra. But as a forty something mom of two the girls need a bit of help these days. But not everyday has to be a full underwire day. That is where True & co bras come in. They have super comfortable wireless options. But do they work for breasts above a C cup? This True & Co Bra review for a Big Bust will share how I feel about these bras and if they have a place in your closet.

True & Co Bra Review for a Big Bust

I bought my first True & Co bra a few years ago. I had read somewhere that you should size up if you have a larger chest and decided after wearing the bra for a while that wasn’t exactly the best advice. So this year between Amazon Prime days and the Nordstrom Anniversary sale I decided to stock up on some different styles and determine what styles work best.

These bras come with the foam inserts. I removed these immediately. They were very much the wrong size for the size of bra I ordered and gave a Bologna Barb look if you get the Pitch Perfect reference.

Over all I can say this about all the True & Co bra styles I own. They are all soft and comfortable. The band sits smooth, you don’t get any back lumps. I can’t even tell that I am wearing a bra the fabric is so lightweight. There is a bit of lift. Not much though. These are a small step up from going braless. These are not bras that will become an everyday bra as they do not lift and separate anywhere close to what I get from an underwire bra. But as a lounge bra they work. I can even do light exercise but I wouldn’t do any jumping jacks or something high intensity.

I have seen reviews where people were raving and talking up the lift and how they use these bras only now. All I can say is that they must have smaller and perkier or younger boobs. My fourty something, breast fed two kids boobs need much more help. It could also be that I actually have really supportive and comfortable underwire bras that I prefer because of the superior lift and separation (I really like this one).

My favourite of all the styles I own at this point is the True & Co Body Triangle Adjustable Strap Soft Form Band Bra. That is a mouthful. But it highlights a couple of things I like about this bra. I prefer the adjustable straps to the ones without. I also like the soft form band. It is a ribbed texture and provides a bit more snugness under the bust.

My least favourite style is the True & Co True Body lift scoop adjustable strap. Don’t get me wrong this is still a comfortable bra but it is the style that gives the most uniboob of the bunch.

Which is one last thing I would highlight. If you are going to buy a True & Co bra go with a v neck style as they give the illusion of more separation.

If you are looking for a comfortable lounge bra or something for light exercise because you don’t really want to strap on the real sports bra (I like this one) True & Co bras work for that. But if you were hoping for great lift and separation from a bralet this bra isn’t going to cut it when compared to underwire bras.

What do you think of the True & Co Bra Review for a Big Bust? Is this a bra you have tried? What did you think?
