Summer Office Outfit

As much as I love a crisp white blouse with a pair of jeans, I don’t love the look of a stark white blouse and black trousers. I find the look too much like a hostess or waitress.

So instead I found a blouse that is close to white without being white.

This silk blend blouse is actually a blush pink colour. Paired with darks it looks closer to an off white but with whites it reads more pink. So much softer against the skin.

The weight of the shirt is perfect for a summer office outfit. Keep your jacket off for the morning commute and throw on a jacket if it is too cold in the office.

One of the things that I really like about this blouse is that it is built for women with a chest. So many blouses have the buttons in the wrong spots or just assume that boobs are not part of a woman’s anatomy making button front blouses harder to fit.

I added this clutch to add some fun to an otherwise regular office outfit. I think sometimes we are all a bit to serious when we get dressed for work in the morning. Keeping my personality with something quirky and fun is something I try to do, even if it is just every once in a while.
