I don’t usually take photos inside because I find the pictures I take outside just turn out so much better. However it is much too cold for me to even pretend it is warm enough to wear summery dresses right now. However after years of blogging I still haven’t learned that I should really clean the mirror before I do any mirror selfies. In my defense I do them so rarely I don’t have a set routine. So bear with the dusty mirror and check out the dresses that are so fantastic I wish I could wear them now.
Ok this dress is so nice I bought it thrice. Yes I bought all the colours. Blue, this green and the black. And yes I remembered to put on shoes after this first picture!
The dresses are a gauze cotton and they are thicker and softer than cotton poplin. I am wearing this dress with the belt that comes with it. I will probably switch out the belt most of the time. There are also belt loops that I am going to cut off.
This is the black dress with an old Zara belt and even older shoes. This dress can easily be dressed up or down depending on the accessories. You can wear it loose on a hot day at the beach. It is so versatile.
The blue is the first one I purchased but it might be my least favourite. I think mostly because the green and black are more my colours.
This is a tshirt style dress that I pick up every year. Usually I get it in black. I don’t need another black one so I picked up the stripe option instead. I did size up. All these other dresses I got large. This one I got extra large because I find these ones shrink in the wash and by the end of the summer the dress feels much smaller.
This dress is unfortunately already sold out in the green stripe. But you can get it in the blue stripe. I would roll up the sleeves when it gets warmer. You could also unbutton the bottom more and layer over white jeans. This dress fits much straighter than the other options.

I find that this is the best time of year to find great affordable dresses for the upcoming season. More so than when summer actually hits. Have you been shopping for the upcoming season?
