Spring Stripes

We got back from our holiday this week and aren’t the first few days back to work the worst? I find it so hard to keep my head in the game. This was my casual Friday outfit. I previously shared this stripe tunic dress in my vacation outfit haul post. Full disclosure it has shrunk so it is shorter on me that in was in that post. I will still wear it as a dress or beach cover up but I really like it with skinny jeans too!

I threw the jacket on at the last minute this morning because Spring decided she wanted to be a bit frosty. I really like how it turned out though. The cropped jacket adds a bit of edge to an otherwise preppy outfit.

I wore my Clare V Honeypot non stop during vacation. It is so cute and different from all the other basket bags out there. I do have a cross body strap for it was well but I took it off for these photos. Will have to share that next time.

I do recommend the Madewell mules I am wearing. I wish they had a bit more of a heel but otherwise they are super comfy and the leather is super soft. No break in time needed for these babies.

What are you guys up to for Mothers Day weekend? My mom is away on vacation so I am not sure that we are actually up to much at all. We don’t really make a big deal about Mothers Day at our house. It just feels like one of those holidays made up by greeting card companies. Just be good to your mom all the time. Or take her out when it isn’t a day that tells you to celebrate your mom. That will feel even more special.

Outfit details: Jacket Mango (old but this is similar), Tunic dress H&M, white jeans Yoga Jeans (similar), pointed mules Madewell, bag Clare V.

This is definitely an outfit I am going to have to repeat. I usually shy away from tunic length shirts due to my height but I think I need to throw that thinking out the window. It totally works.
