There a few different things that I will buy in multiples if I like what I am working with. Bras, tees and other basics. Even work trousers if they are a good fit. I think if it is something that you like and works for your lifestyle buy it in all the colours you like. The latest in buying multiples is a long cardigan that is great for over air conditioned spaces or just lounging around the house in the colder months. I would even say it is a must have for air travel.

I picked up this cardigan in both the black and brown options. It is the kind of cardigan I have had in the past in more premium fabrics but ruined in the wash.
But it is also the kind of cardigan I want to be able to wash easily because I will wear it so much. Layered over work clothes or weekend clothes or even pjs.
Similar options in cashmere run in the $200 to $300 range or more. And while yes they are softer they don’t really look all that different. I think for lounging around the house I will go with the version that I won’t cry over if I shrink.
If I had to pick just one option I prefer the black cardigan. The brown one looks more camel on the website but is more greige brown in real life.
