Fall is coming. Not quite as ominous as Winter but there is change in the air non the less. We only have one more week of summer holidays and then it is back to high school and full days at the office. Some of my favourite retailers are starting to release their fall clothing and I am looking forward to September. Even the temperatures are supposed to be cooler next week even though I know that we will have at least one more heatwave before the cooler weather stays.
The Sezane fall drop is happening tomorrow. The look book is here. I can’t really link to individual items yet but I really want that bag (likely in the red) and the sweater. The shoes with the bows are gorgeous. I will have to see what sells out because that is always the risk shopping Sezane.
I made a donation to PBS. The home of Sesame Street, Reading Rainbow, Rick Steves. PBS has programming that should be prioritized because it teaches empathy, tolerance and wonder. So when it was defunded I decided since I can’t vote I can make a donation. Plus with a donation you can watch all the programming. So I have watched Patience, 4 seasons of Grantchester, Marlow Murder Club and the two seasons of Magpie Mysteries. All great if you like cozy British crime shows.
I finally went to get my eyes checked and I have a few different pairs of glasses coming. One new pair for work. One of my old pairs with updated lenses and these as readers.
Other than that we haven’t really done any back to school shopping. I figure I will stock up on some things closer to October when the kids will be wearing more colder weather clothes. I think we have enough warm weather clothes to make it through September.
