I am deeply in love with this coat. Honestly pictures really don’t do it justice. There are more colours and the colours are more vibrant in person. It is oversized so I can layer underneath too. Which is kinda needed since it isn’t lined.
Originally I was going to change into some heeled boots to finish off the outfit. But the reality is it is winter in Canada. So that means I mostly live in my winter boots these days. Mine are a few years old but you can find this years version in the sale. These boots are super warm. And they are great option except when it is wet and slushy as opposed to cold and snowy.
I haven’t been wearing my wide brim hats as much this year but pulling it out for this outfit reminded me why they are great in the winter. When it is snowing you have this brim of protection. I usually wear more of a toque style hat because they cover your ears and are warmer. But when the temperatures aren’t super freezing but you still have some snow hats like this are great.
Having a collection of coats is basically how I get through the winter without getting totally sick of my clothing. I find picking a different coat can liven up the same old work clothes.
