Sephora what I bought and I liked

I feel like lately the only place I have been shopping is Sephora. It started with restocking old favourites but I sprinkled in some new finds as well. As a result I have tried a bunch of new things some of which are really great! Sharing all the things from Sephora that I bought and I liked lately.

I was curious about this tool for a while and finally pulled the trigger. I was more interested in the pore extractor feature vs the serum infuser side of things.

It does work. Just not as well as I would have hoped considering the price. It is good at getting on the surface gunk. It is harder to get deeper blackheads. Deeper blackheads need a lot more swipes and the vibrations are a bit painful. But arguably so are manual extractions.

I think for the price you are better to use pore strips and resurfacing masks. If you are going to invest in this tool make sure to use it with open pores, damp skin and give it time.

I grew up using the Clinque #2 clarifying lotion. But as an adult I got away from using a toner until recently. My skin does really like a toner. I tried the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow. I like it. It definitely works. It is a bit more viscous than I was expecting. And it is pretty gentle (no major sting) while still working. There is a watermelon smell. My daughter likes this one better than I do. I prefer the Farmacy one.

Ok so the first two items were more mediocre. These acne healing dots are really fantastic. We have used them multiple times and they actually shrink pimples overnight. These work so much quicker than any other pimple cream I have tried.

This mask is my new favourite. Full disclosure it stings. But it stings so good. There is a scrub component to it as well. Your skin and pores will be clear and minimized. Great for skin that skews oily.

I like this retinol eye stick. It is basically an eye cream in stick form. But I do notice my eyes looking smoother and brighter. I noticed a bunch of negative reviews say it does nothing for dark circles however it isn’t supposed to. Skin will look full and hydrated. It is super easy to use which is part of the pull. This product seems to sell out quite often.

Other items I purchased were picking up old favorites. Particularly this vitamin c serum because every other one I have tried just doesn’t stack up. I also picked up this retinol cream. I love this one but I wanted to see if I can handle a higher dose option. I actually don’t find them that different.

Have you tried any great skincare lately?
