November and December tends to be when I pull out all the red. And the plaid. And even the red and plaid together. I find my style definitely runs more preppy leading up to the Holidays.
This red coat just screams festive doesn’t it?
If you have been following this blog for a while you will know that I debated getting this coat before. But I had the factory version in camel so I decided to get a wool trench in red. I feel like I should have just gotten this coat all along! But sometimes it takes us a while to get there.
I was hoping that Banana Republic would come out with the velvet pants I am wearing again but so far no luck. They have more jean styles but not a sloan version yet. I have a feeling that Holiday styles are going to skew a bit more casual this year. Still I wear black velvet pants to work all winter as they look nice and are warmer than many dress pants.
