The summer weather has moved into the hot and sweaty territory which means no more layers. The opposite is true actually as I am more partial to lightweight tops and skirts combos for the foreseable future.
My skirt is old but there are loads of similar options. The wrap top is a light and airy cotton. The cut is pretty short so really only ideal to wear with high waisted clothing. Which really isn’t hard since that tends to be what I wear anyways. I would definitely pair this top with jeans like this too. It is a bit sheer so keep that in mind if that bothers you. I found the fit true to size.
I have been reading all the posts on the Nordstrom sale so far and have been pretty underwhelmed. There haven’t been too many must have items bloggers have been sharing and so many of them are sharing the same sweaters and denim. I did see a great coat in the catalog so I am definitely going to track that down once the sale goes live. I also saw this top in the sale which I own in two colours and love. I might be tempted to get another.

I don’t know how many full outfit pictures I will be posting over the next few months. Summer is my least favourite season outfits wise because I just feel so hot and uncomfortable most of the time. I like layers and there is no way I am layering in this heat! Plus most of what I have in my summer wardrobe is either old or sold out so not sure how helpful the outfits will be but will see how the summer progresses.
