Our lives here are soon to be super hectic as we move from one city to another. It will be a major change but I am super excited about our new home. I feel like we have been moving since February with prepping our home, then staging it to sell and now the actual move.
I am excited about having a day job again that isn’t just entertaining, feeding, changing diapers and all that stuff that goes with being a stay at home Mom. I have loved having the opportunity to do it, but it is time for a change and I welcome it.
What does all that mean for this space? Not a whole lot. I still plan on blogging. I might not post every day, but I will still be here. I don’t plan on changing the name of my blog, even though I will not be living in Toronto anymore. I just see it as a change in perspective. And most of the shopping landscape in Southern Ontario is set up for shoppers to drive into the GTA for all the really great international brands and luxury shopping.
Plus there are all sorts of SEO and behind the scenes reasons for staying torontoshopoholic, so I am here to stay for the foreseeable future.
Part of the whole packing process has been culling my wardrobe. Some of it has been going to goodwill, some just packed up to be rediscovered at the new house. I have been living in these GAP white jean shorts. They are my one non sporty short option at the moment and I don’t even mind that they are in high rotation. This summer is the year of the white short for me.

I'm guessing if you live in Toronto true, you are doubling your closet space :) plus you might be surprised at the stores outside of the Gta, it's like they finally discovered people outside of Toronto have some spending money lol

We do live in downtown Toronto - looking forward to having things like front hall closets and yes the closet space is going to be grand! I am sure there are all sorts of boutiques and the like that I will discover once I am actually there but the mall offerings are not overly impressive ... but with so much online shopping these days it isn't a big deal.
