Christmas more than any other season or holiday calls for extra decor throughout the house. Christmas trees, lights, wreaths and everything that takes your home from every day to extra festive.
Christmas is also a season rich in tradition and as such I tend to gravitate more towards a shabby chic or vintage style more so during the holidays than through the rest of the year. So I have created a round up of all my favourite Handmade and vintage Christmas Decor from Etsy.
Wreaths are synonomous with Holiday decorating but more so with Christmas than any other. I found these gorgeous Christmas wreaths from a number of different etsy shops and I really had a hard time narrowing one down to feature. I could have done a round up of just wreaths. I was able to find a marquee Christmas sign at Target but they have yet to restock them. Whenever you see something that might be vintage inspired you should check out Esty for the real thing. I found this Hohoho sign shown above as well as this Merry sign here.
If your style runs more shabby chic or country I love this be Merry sign and how they styled it with all the white!
I love the idea of these personalized ornaments. Use them as gift tags this year and then put them on the tree for years to come. Do the same with the retro skiers!
Is your house Christmas crazy? Check out that Christmas countdown sign – so fun. Set it up in your front hall and change the number of days on your way out the door to school in the morning or take down a picture and replace this with it on the wall.
One of the easiest ways to decorate your home is to change your throw pillows, whether it be in your living room or making up your bed. I love the retro Santa and this reindeer.
Speaking of vintage Santa & Mrs Claus would fit right in with all the mid century modern decor that is so popular right now.
