Fashion Week Outfit; Round 2

Last week I attended day 3 of World Mastercard Fashion Week in Toronto. It was one of the most popular nights of the week with both Pink Tartan and Joe Fresh showing.

It was still super cold, but not so cold I needed a parka so a lighter coat but tall boots were the way to go.

I was really impressed with the Joe Fresh show. Lots of neutral colours, olive green, khaki and of course orange. I loved all the faux fur, especially on the toques which created something like a faux hawk. And if you are looking for an army green parka for next winter Joe Fresh will have you covered.

The show was entitled Fresh Expedition and it really had that cozy, Canadiana feel. Chunky knits, lots of turtlenecks. I think it will be a collection that will sell really well.

I can’t even tell you what that one item that I absolutely need because there are just so many. I will be picking up one of the parkas for my husband (is it bad that I want one too for myself?) but I thought the faux fur vest that had a fur front and puffer vest was a fun statement item.

Pink Tartan was absolutely fabulous as well, everything you would expect from the brand. Lots of turtlenecks again, oversized fur mits, midi skirts. Plaid cocoon coats, chunky knits; I would wear everything out of this collection. Even the white sunglasses that make you look like you are blinking. See the collection here.
