Easy Breezy; Cape sweater with luxe accents

Overall this outfit is pretty simple. Black jeans, sweater cape. But it is the details that make it special. The fur collar, the leopard heels. Perfect for an easy going weekend.

We wrapped presents, did some last minute shopping (ok not really last minute but I don’t plan on heading back to the mall if I can help it) and watched Christmas movies.

I have been waiting for a good excuse to show off these fingerless gloves gifted to me by Toronto Designer Jennifer Fukushima. I was sent them when it was way too warm for mittens or gloves but when I put together this outfit I knew they were perfect.

These gauntlets are made with recycled fabrics and buttons and made in Canada. I think the herringbone is classic and there is just enough stretch in the fabric to pull these gloves over what you are wearing. Plus they are warm enough for these milder winter days we have been having.

If you are looking for a more traditional mitten I think these are fantastic too.

I have been lusting after the Nine West Tryme’s since I saw them earlier this year on Instagram after the Fall preview. So when all the Black Friday sales were on I knew what I was going to get. THESE SHOES! The heel is the perfect height for day and the pointy toe keeps it from looking too old lady frumpy.
