I feel like I am a bit late posting these photos now that the weather finally has warmed up. But we had a fairly cool and rainy spring and it has really only been the last week and a half that has been consistently warm. I can’ really complain though because I have gotten lots of wear out of my trench coat.
The trousers and blue button down was my go to this spring. It was my Monday outfit. You know the one that you put on because you know it works and you like the looks of it to head straight into the work week.
The trench coat is an upgrade. Do you ever do that? Upgrade items in your closet that you wear all the time. My old trench was a bit shorter and I much prefer the length on this one.
My tote is new as well. I wanted a tote that had a zip so that it was more useful for travel. Also it is smaller than all my other totes which means it is easier to carry day to day. I plan on using it as my personal item for when I just travel with my husband. When we are travelling with our kids too I need more space to make sure I can bring extras for them as well.
The strap is not the one that came with it but this one instead. I like the contrast and this strap is thicker.

I am afraid that here in the NW of the UK we are still wearing this type of clothing. Our summer has been an gone - all though we are not having too much rain there is always a cold wind keeping our temperatures pretty low, even when the sun shines. I wish our summers were a bit cooler but the last couple days have been HOT. Felt like 40 degrees Celsius. We tend to have quite a bit of humidity but over all this summer has been cooler than the last few we have had as this was our first real heatwave. I probably won't be wearing jackets for a while now.
