While we spend much of our time trying to find the perfect Christmas Party outfit or something to wear for all the family dinners we travel to over the Holidays.
But when it comes to Christmas morning if you are like my family we spend most of our time lounging around in our Christmas Jammies. In fact I try to make sure that the Christmas pajamas are gifted Christmas Eve or even earlier so that we wear them leading up to Christmas, building up the excitement.

I wear my Christmas pajamas year round so I try to buy something that I enjoy not just for the season. Something like red polka dots or something in a cotton jersey that will be comfortable under a heavy duvet.
While some of the cheesyier Christmas jammies might be fun for a short while they might no have the same wear-ability after the season is over so keep that in mind. The comfort level might not be there either.
I really like the slimmer styles like these that are on the market right now. They would easily double for a light weight base layer if you are a skiier, or if you are spending time outside building snowmen.
I haven’t gotten a new housecoat in ages. I am still wearing the same teadybear fleece one I got as a teenager. I am loving the plaid options here, here and here as festive change to something I should probably retire in favour of something fresh and new.
