Casual Valentine's Day Outfit

But at the same time I am that dorky girl who wears green on St. Patrick's Day, Red and Green or festive plaids at Christmas and of course Red and Pink for Valentine's Day.

Even though when I was a kid we were told that red and pink clash (and therefore not to be worn together), it is a combination that I love around Valentine's Day.
Topped off with some white accents (my cabled hat and pearl bracelet) and the parka that has been keeping me toasty all winter I think this is a realistic daytime Valentine's Day outfit.

What do are you wearing for Valentine's Day? Want to share it with the next #thewaywewear link up? I hope so, stay tuned for February 3rd when you can share your Valentine's Day outfits!

Thanks Emma. I am just a cheesy holiday nut 😉
Very cute!! I dread Valentine's day - for different reasons these days - it seems the kids even have to take candy to school for all their friends! My OH and I have NEVER exchanged cards or gifts - we like to think it is Valentine's Day every day in our house so Feb 14th is redundant:)
To be honest my husband and I don't really celebrate Valentines either. Our first date was actually February 13th as an FU to Valentines. I find it very much a card selling holiday (much like mothers day etc). But my willingness to be a total cheeseball and dress for the occasion overwhelms my other objections!
As much as I am NOT a fan of Valentine's day, I really love your outfit. It's the small details that make this look so much fun 🙂

Love this! And thanks for the reminder about dressing for Valentine's day {I normally forget to wear red/pink!}
