Camel Wrap Coat

I have been taking an unintended summer blog break. While the weather is more pleasant, I have the same feeling towards the end of summer as the end of winter. Ready for change. For something different.

My eye has been drawn to midi length camel wrap coats. They are so classic and elegant looking. The longer length just feels fresh and lets face it practical when the temperatures drop.

Shop the Camel Wrap Coat

  1. Belted camel hair coat – this coat is the gold standard, the luxury version that all other camel wrap coats try to emulate.
  2. Tahari ‘Ella’ Belted Double Face Wool Blend Wrap Coat – while I like the collar on this coat the length is a bit shorter than I am looking for and the colour is more cinnamon than camel.
  3. LONDON FOG Wool-Blend Robe Coat – This is a classic looking option and really affordable.
  4. Drape Front Wrap Coat – I love everything about this coat. The shape, the length, even the mushroom colour which is a cross between camel and grey.
  5. Cuyana Wool Coat – Another gorgeous mid priced option. I love the oversized collar on this.
  6. First & I Belted Coat – you want the look but not the price tag? This is one of those options.
  7. Wool Blend Wrap Coat – this coat seems to melt the relaxed styles with some of the more structured elements like that gorgeous collar. A truer camel hue as well.
  8. J.D.Y Wrap Coat – Another super affordable option but no wool content.

What do you think about the robe coat style? Took much like a house coat? I find the more structured the collar the less likely these coats will look and feel like a bath robe. And the camel colour is something that will never grow old. Plus this coat would look just as good with jeans as it does a dress.
