To be honest 2022 was not the most ground breaking in terms of shopping. You can tell that supply chains are still messed up. Selection isn’t as interesting as it has been in the past. But I also think part of what keeps me from shopping as much as in the past is that I really don’t need anything. And if I don’t need anything things have to be pretty cool to entice me to want them. Still I found some good things this year. These are the best of 2022.
I picked these up for Christmas and wow they are fantastic. If you live somewhere cold and you are into winter walks or have to pick up your kids or anything where you will be outside for a while but don’t want to wear snow pants these are the pants! On sale now.
This long puffer has been more of a hit than I imagined. Pair this coat with the pants above and I am so warm walking to get my kids after school. Or to sit in the hockey arena. Still available in this greige or black.
Sezane knitwear was on my list last year and it is on again this year. My favourite options are the Leontine shown here and the Trudy I just reviewed.
These jeans! I have been raving about them haven’t I? I have been wearing them quite a bunch to work. If you want to do the wide leg trend but in more of a polished, grown up manner these are your jeans. I also have been really liking these and these.
This Cos Cashmere sweater has been in heavy rotation. The weight is substantial and I love the neckline. Cos sweaters are generous sizes so do not size up. My sweater is not available in black but there are other options (like this) that are available in navy.
