I feel like I have been returning more that I have been keeping lately. I don’t think I am getting pickier I just think fit is wonky on so many things. Like these pants that fit slightly loose in the waist, but were too tight across the hips. Others have noted the same issue. Shirts that I ordered with great success last year were comicly large this year. Or pair of pants was fine everywhere but my calves. Not even sure what that was about. So I can tell you will great certainty that when I say these are the best I have tried a lot of duds to get to this list.
Best Buys Lately Spring
Kimono Robe – I took a chance and ordered both a long and a short kimono robe and they are awesome. These will look so cool paired with shorts over a bathing suit for summer. I got the blue and white combo in the short and a black and tan for the long.
Puff Sleeve Belted Dress – This dress is a crisp poplin cotton in a great tomato red. I actually like this dress so much I am considering it in another colour. I actually like this better with a leather belt but it is a definite winner. I sized down one size as it is quite voluminous.
Sisal Bucket Bag – I have ordered from this vendor before and I tend to wear these bags all summer. I love the really neutral vibe of this one. It is actually bigger in real life than it these pictures.
Leontine Sweater – I have mentioned this sweater before and it really has turned out way better than I thought it would. I am not usually keen on cotton sweaters but I love this one. I have been wearing it loads. No wonder it sells out all the time.
V Neck Cotton Blouse – in the heat of the summer I love light cotton blouses like this. They work at the office or after hours with shorts. This one is a steal.
Shorts – I don’t often shop this brand but I gave their shorts a try. I sized up so they can be loose and relaxed. These turned out so much better than I was expecting. Great affordable cut offs.
Romina Ruffle Dress – This dress is more of a splurge. I was getting so down on things I was sending back I decided to give something more spendy a try. This dress is gorgeous. And now I am stalking more options.
Stripe Beach Bag – I ordered this in the natural stripe and it is already sold out. I knew to jump on it right away as it sold out super fast last year. The bag is huge. And if you don’t want to splurge for this, go with this stripe beach bag.
Hat – I totally didn’t need another summer hat but this one looks great. It could fit my head a bit better. I think that this one fits better as it is sized.
