A.P.C is a french brand known for chic minimalist designs. Their bags all have this minimalist feel as well. The Demi Lune bag is one that the brand is most known for. Somehow I stumbled upon the Helene bucket bag and decided it was one that I needed. The canvas and leather combination is one that really works well for the summer months. The APC Helene Bucket Bag Review will share why this bag has been one of my most worn this season.
APC Helene Bucket Bag Review
The Helene Bucket Bag is a burlap and smooth leather bucket bag with a cylindrical base. This bag is trimmed in leather at the base and embossed with APC logo. The sides of the bag are reinforced with leather that extends to the strap. The structured base keeps this bag from being slouchy. It will stand up on it’s own.
The bucket bag strap is adjustable and can be carried as a cross body or shoulder bag.
I tend to carry this bag because it can carry both my small wallet, my larger wallet and my phone. There is a decent size internal pocket that I can stash my keys. The snap closes things off a bit. I usually just leave it open though.
I think I have been carrying this bag so much is that the bucket style just makes things easy access. Nothing to unclasp or unzip.
What I like about this bag aside from the size and easy use is the fact that it really does scream spring summer. It also has a more professional feel that a typical more boho type basket bag. The minimalist streamlined look allows this bucket bag to work with everything.
The red leather is an older style. The black and brown leather seem to be the most available options.
