Announcing a new Fashion Blog Link Up; #thewaywewear series

I have been toying with the idea of a link up for fashion bloggers, or anyone who posts outfits and style inspiration. But I didn't want it to be just a hodge podge of posts that everyone did from the past week, instead I wanted to do a link up that can really help people with a style problem.

So what I have come up with is a monthly link up where you show how you wear a certain trend or even classic; how we as personal style bloggers wear everything from red denim to a classic blue blazer. It is a way to showcase how real girls are wearing, no ROCKING a trend out on the street.

So get excited  and mark your calendars!! Sunday May 26th will be the next #thewaywewear link up and the theme is print mixing. I have seen everything from totally clashing to simply stripes and florals. How do you print mix?

A few guidlines on #thewaywewear blog link up

1. Posts don't have to be super current but please nothing older than 3 months. Preferably you will see this as an assignment and post your outfit concurrently with the link up.

2. Link to a picture that is relevant to the post/#thewaywewear link up not a generic picture of you or of your blog. Give people a reason to click through to your blog. Only use your blog name as the title of your post.

3. Make it easy for people to comment. Blogger blogs that means enable the name/url option, wordpress.com blogs this means don't use the standard jetpack settings so I have to be logged into my old wordpress.com account to comment. We want to build a community that spans platforms so lets make it easy for EVERYONE to participate, give you props and share the love.

4. Place a #thewaywewear badge on your site (grab the code from below!). Place it on the sidebar or within the post that you are linking up with.
