4 Preppy Plaid Holiday Looks

It is the time of the year that I am obsessed with plaid. I really gravitate to it at this time of year. A festive plaid immediately gets me in the mood for a Holly Jolly Christmas.

Look 1

Sweater // pants // earrings // flats

This is the look I am most interested in recreating. The pants are being delivered any day now and I have a similar black sweater to layer over top. The green velvet shoes add a lux look and feel. The bold gold earrings are a finishing touch.

Look 2

White bobble sweater // pants // snowflake earrings // red flats

The black Stewart plaid still packs a punch but is less bold than the red. I like how the snowflake earrings work with the white bobble sweater.

Look 3

Sweater// pants // earrings // flats

Black watch plaid is the least obvious and in your face plaid option of the bunch. I also have these pants coming and I can’t wait to create a similar look. The navy bobble sweater is the same as the white. I think the style is very versatile. Another set of velvet flats keeps the look subtle but still festive. Since this look is more understated I went with these gorgeous pearls.

Sweater // pants // hoops // boots

I am not sure why but I feel like the red plaid sweater is the most bold of the bunch even though the red plaid pants are no less red or plaid. This sweater would look just as festive with jeans as the green cords.
