Happy New Year! It has been pretty quiet around here as I chose to take it easy on the blog over the Christmas Holidays. Taking it easy turned into just not working on this space at all while we visited family and friends over the last 7 days. I hope that you are feeling recharged and ready to go for the New Year!
I didn’t really do much shopping over the holiday even when the Boxing Day sales launched. I did pick up the gray reversible wrap coat shown in these pictures which is still on sale. What I really like about this coat is that they didn’t fully sew in the tags so it really is fully reversible! Unfortunately the pockets don’t work on the darker grey side.
Do you set goals or resolutions at the start of a New Year? I usually try to get more exercise into my life. I started off the year right by going cross country skiing for the first time since high school. Once I found the right trail it was a fun way to get outside and exercise.
2017 was the first full year of the new blog name. I did a deep dive on what does well here and while outfits get lots of likes on Facebook and Instagram the posts that bring in traffic from Pinterest and Google are reviews, travel posts and packing lists. I think for 2018 I will increase my outfit posting on Instagram and not every outfit will make it onto the blog as they don’t seem to have as much of a long term draw.
