Cape coat

I shared this Asos blue plaid blanket coat a few weeks ago in a more casual outfit. Today I wanted to share how versatile it is for work as well as weekend. 

This was a busy weekend for our family. It was my son’s birthday party on Saturday and it took all week to get ready for it. And then we have to do it all over again for Thanksgiving at our house!

This past week the temperatures dropped and it is starting to feel crisp in the morning. Even if it might still get up above 20 by late afternoon. There are trees that have started to turn colour and the humitity is largely gone from the air. 

One of my favourite coats from last year was the cape coat from Zara that I scored on sale. It was great through the transition from winter to spring but also great layered up for colder days. I love the way capes add drama to outfits so I am obviously on the hunt for another option …
