I have shared what I wear to the airport a few times on this blog. But the girl who wore skinny jeans on the plane isn’t the person I am today and I thought I would show my updated airport outfit. Because what we like to wear and find comfortable but chic for travel changes over time.

Keep in mind that my airport outfit was for a May vacation to a hot Caribbean island. So linen pants and a tee was totally appropriate even though it still seems to be chilly here in Ontario. If I were travelling in the winter months I would have chosen something different.

Outfit details: Jean jacket // tee // wide leg linen pants // sneakers (reviewed here)/ bag (reviewed here)
The jacket was necessary because it was cold in the early morning before we boarded the plane. And I wore it for most of the flight as well because it tends to be cold up in the air. The beauty of this jean jacket is that it is stretchy and super soft. I had packed a sweater in my carry on but never used it because the jacket was enough.

The tee is merino wool. You have probably seen travel bloggers raving about merino wool for the whole pack less because they don’t smell thing. I can confirm that they don’t get smelly like other tees. I wore this tee all day travelling and there was no armpit smells. I even wore this top a few other times. But that isn’t the only great thing about the top. It is softer and warmer than a regular cotton tee.

The linen pants are a different more wide leg style from my favourite etsy shop. I like that they are drapey and loose. They are perfect for travel because they are as comfortable as sweats but look so much better. And when I got to the island they were not too hot.

My personal item bag is one I have reviewed before. It is a fantastic travel bag. I don’t usually have to carry it around but slip it on the suitcase arm and roll it around the airport that way.
What have you been wearing to the airport lately?
