There is so much talk about rewearing your clothes. I always thought it was a weird thing to say because besides the ultra wealthy who isn’t rewearing their clothes? Sure some stuff gets more wear than others but are you really throwing your clothes away after one wear? Probably not. Now if you are buying really cheap poorly made clothing maybe there isn’t much rewearing? But I know for myself I have things in my closet that I have had for years. These are my favourite fall items I can’t wait to rewear.
This time of year when the weather is cooler but not cold is the perfect weather for cotton sweaters. I have two of this Sezane sweater that I have had for years (the review is from 2022). They wash well (lay flat to dry) and I particularly like these because they aren’t chunky and thick so they are a great option for in between weather. I have the navy with white stripe and the ecru with red stripe version.
It hasn’t quite been trench weather yet but I know it will soon. I prefer this looser trench lately than a classic trench because it has looser arms. Just like jeans have gone looser in the legs I feel like I am over super skinny sleeves.
Wide leg denim is something I am bringing back for fall. I don’t really wear jeans in the summer. Dresses, skirts and lots of linen sure. But with temperatures dropping I can bear jeans again. But I feel like my jeans need an overhaul. I have been holding onto some pairs that really I should donate and move on from. The ones above are a VERY wide pair. If you are into drama go for it.
I am excited to bring out knitwear but as I mentioned above some is too bulky for early fall. This alpaca sweater is so lightweight but also so warm. So if you want something for chilly mornings this is it!
