Christmas Plaid
Although this outfit doesn't scream Christmas like some of the others I have posted this year (here & here & here), it still is festive and cozy.
To be honest if you are wearing a red sweater you are Christmasy in my books, throw in some plaid and you are truely festive.
If I am going to be honest with you I haven't worn this skirt very often. I always felt that while I liked the fabric and it felt like a party skirt I didn't find the drawstring/elastic waist wasn't overly flattering.
But I like this combo.
Outfit details: Sweater JCREW (old, similar), plaid skirt Joe Fresh (old, similar, similar, similar), tights spanx, ankle boots Joe Fresh (old).

This is exactly my version of a festive outfit because it isn't TOO festive! I love this and think it is also a great New Year's look for those of us who will be taking it easy and staying in with friends!
