Holiday Sparkle

Usually we keep it pretty casual at Christmas but this year I gave into my inner girly girl and bought some sequin pieces like this sequin midi skirt and these sequin pants.

These are perfect for Christmas parties and Christmas dinners alike. Well maybe not Christmas dinner because you don't have as much room for turkey and stuffing.

When I put on this skirt both my kids were wowed. They kept saying PRETTY MOMMY and well it is fantastic to hear. Who knew that all it took was some sequins?

I do recommend wearing a camisole or tee tucked in because the sequins are a bit scratchy but these are the things we do for a fun oufit right?

It is funny because so many style experts tell you not to shop in the juniors department but I think it is more about knowing what is going to work and what isn't. It is about being selective because I wouldn't have found this skirt if I had written off the juniors department all together.
