Transition Season Style

transition season style, dress with leather jacket, theodora callum scarfI will be honest most of the time this whole transition season or Indian Summer has me confused. I want so desperately for it to be fall but except for the early morning and evenings it is still very much summer temperatures minus all that humidity. Which I shouldn't be complaining about because it is lovely. But what to wear? transition season style, black leather jacket, theodora callum scarfI think I have gotten it right here. It is part summer (the dress, the bare legs) and part fall (the scarf, the jacket) which allows you to moderate your temperature (take off a layer) when the temperature  creeps up on you.

mixed prints, scarf and dress, danier leather jacketThe mixed prints here is subtle. You almost write it off because the extra print in the scraf doesn't count right? But it does! The crisp summer feel of the blue and white in the dress is toned down into fall by the sharp black, and soft greys and greens in the shoes and scarf.

black biker jacket with dress, theodora callum scarf, belted dressOutfit details: Dress Merona at Target (past season), Scarf Theodora & Callum c/o (here for international), Leather Jacket Danier, belt Linea Pelle, cut out sandals Belle by Sigerson Morrison via the Outnet (old).

    1. thank you! That is the thing about trying stuff on. It was the same for me with those leopard BR pants. Wanted them, loved them on others but not for me.

    1. Thank you Mafalda! It is still quite warm here most days by noon - so sandals are still good for day 🙂
