4 ways to wear red pants

One of the conversations that I am seeing again and again is that people are tired of beige outfits. That we are all starting to dress the same and there is less individuality in style right now. One of the easiest ways to break free from boring beige and adding more creativity to your outfit is to add colour. If you are trying something like a red trouser here are 4 ways to wear red pants.

Red with black

This was the most obvious to me. I think part of it is I keep seeing advertisements for Leset and they are showing their red trousers with a black sweater and I wanted to recreate the outfit. Black really goes with most everything and I am wearing it more than ever because I like the contrast with my natural hair.

Red with Blue Stripes

I am a sucker for a blue stripe shirt and they really do go with most things. This is taking a shirt you might usually wear with khaki or navy and switching it out for these red linen trousers. I find H&M always comes out with at least 1 good blue stripe top each year but they sell out quickly. I have paired this outfit with brown accessories for something softer to the black above.

Red with white

This is another obvious choice really because just like black, white goes with everything. That said it isn't something I choose as much anymore because white tops with white hair doesn't pop the same as the other options. I feel like I disappear when I wear white near my face. But I think this blouse is so pretty with the scallop detail and borderie anglaise print.

Red with stripes

I know what you are thinking, we did stripes already? Well that was a button front blouse with vertical stripes. This is a horizontal stripe tee. The look is very different overall. For me this is my favourite option along with the black sweater look.
