Sezane Lou Bag Review

Sezane dropped a number of new bags this fall. The one that sold out first and continues to sell out in all colourways is the Sezane Lou Bag. With a thin crossbody strap and top zipper this is a bag that is made for when you need minimal stuff and want things zipped up safe. Safe but also cute. This is the Sezane Lou Bag Review.

Sezane Lou Bag Review

The Sezane Lou Bag comes in both leather and suede options. There is an adjustable leather strap that can be worn across the body. There is a full zipper closure across the top. The hardware is gold.

Size wise the Lou Bag is not very big. Dimensions are 18 x 20 x 11.5 cm. Comparable to the Victor Bag but the shape is different, more tall than long. And the Lou is much more flexible not so rigid.

I can fit a small wallet, a phone, keys and sunglasses.

I was lucky to get the Lou Bag. I noticed a restock and jumped as fast as I could. I get why this style is popular aside from the fact that it is new. First off the red and burgundy are desirable colours. The strap details add visual interest. The biggest pull for me was the full zip closure. This makes this bag a great option for travel.

If I was to point out any drawbacks of this bag I would say I wished the bag was slightly larger to more easily accommodate my travel needs. I also wish the strap was slightly longer. I don’t love super long cross body straps that have the bag down around your bum but this one seems a bit short although comparable with other Sezane Bags.

Still those are just me being nit picky. I think if you are looking for a bag that holds the essentials and zips up completely and still looks cute this is a great option.
