Dragon Diffusion Nantucket Bag Review

Dragon Diffusion bags are inspired by traditional basket weaving techniques. The bags are designed in Brussels, handwoven in India with vegetable tanned leathers at a factory with ethical and fair working conditions. Surprisingly this brand has been around since 1985 but it has really blown up in the past 5 or so as it has been embraced by the content creator community.

I have been looking at various styles of woven leather bags for the past few years but always came bag to Dragon Diffusion because it was exactly what I was looking for. Not just style wise but size wise as well. Sure there are dupes on Etsy but the reviews are really mixed. There are other styles but they were not as elegant. Or the cheaper price tag was because you were getting a much smaller bag.

I even went searching for Dragon Diffusion bags on resale sites but found they were going to be similar or more expensive to buying new because of duties. So I just went ahead and ordered the exact item I wanted, the Dragon Diffusion Nantucket tote.

I don’t know why but woven leather feels summery to me. I think it is that it has a basket bag look. Woven leather also has movement that regular leather bags don’t have unless they are buttery soft.

I have the Nantucket style which has this cut out area for easy shoulder wearing. The size is perfect for my day to day living. I could fit a lap top in this bag but you aren’t really supposed to overload these bags as it can place too much strain on the woven straps.

The interior is unlined. There are no additional pockets. There is a leather logo patch and a Saint Christopher medal sewn into the interior.

Overall I am really happy with this purchase. The leather weave is so gorgeous. I love the way the bag moves and look of the bag is summery without being beachy. Size wise it is big enough for my every day life. But it isn’t so big that it seems oversized. This bag looks great with a linen dress as shown here but would look just as good with jeans and a tee. I would definitely buy another bag from this brand. I also really like the look of this style.
