Velvet is a trend this year you don’t want to miss out on. I hate to even call it a trend because velvet seems to come back every fall and holiday season.

Velvet pants look luxurious but more than that they are warm. Which is something to consider when planning out Christmas outfits. Beyond that these are going to be ideal pants for surviving the school drop off in January.

I am wearing the sumptuous purple colour but to be honest it is more of a deep burgundy shade. I love it paired with soft pink or nude even navy. The way I styled this outfit is perfect for work. If I was going to glam these pants for an event I would pair them with lace or even sequins.
