My top 3 Hand & Body Creams in rotation right now

It is that time of year when your skin just feels DRY. Especially if you don’t lock in whatever moisture you have left after a shower. Which means if you are like me you have creams in every bathroom and bedroom, just in case.

In fact I have a range of creams from lotions for light dryness to thick ultra hydrating creams for extra dry and eczema prone skin.

best hand and body creams, cream for ezcema, natural creamsI picked up the Alba lotion at Target. It is a great all round body lotion for light dryness. It is something that you could use year round when you get out of the bath or shower to keep your skin from drying out. I love the coco butter scent. It is also non-irritating. I have found that some of the Johnston & Johnston are very irritating, especially for my daughter’s skin. We have never had any problems with this cream and we have gone through a whole tube so far this winter. I like that it absorbs really fast and is great to use throughout the day on your hands to keep them from getting super dry.

I have used the Arbonne hand cream for a few years. It is another all round cream, but thicker than the Alba lotion. It has a light lemon scent and is what I use on my hands and legs when I get out of the shower. I can get away with using less of this cream as a little goes a long way. Again easy absorption. Paraben free and vegan too which I love. Get in touch with my Arbonne rep Natalie HERE.

The final cream is a super rich guava scented body butter from Lovefresh. I was lucky enough to get a sample when I was at the One of a Kind show this year and it has proved to be a god send. My son suffers from eczema in the winter months and since we started using the Lovefresh body butter I haven’t had to use his medicated cream once. It is very thick and often more than I need, but I love the smell and when rubbing it into my sons back I get some added benefits for my hands. Another all natural product and this one is made right here in Toronto! A little goes a long way, and take the time to massage it in thoroughly.

What creams get you through the winter?
