I have been a bit bored with my outfits of late and that leads me to post fewer of them on the blog. But after some time off work for some summer holidays with the kiddos I am back to the office next week. I was a bit more inspired to put together an office look for heading back to work. I say this and it sounds silly since I have only been off for a week and aside from a trip to Niagara Falls we haven’t been up to much aside from dentist visits and park time but I feel as if I have been gone for a month.
This outfit is a remix of one of my favourites from earlier this spring. I swapped out the jeans for trousers and the red shoes for my new pointed slides. The bag is a recent resale find and I am so in love with it I am sure I will do a separate review. The suede sleeveless trench is older now but I feel like I need to wear it more often since it is such a great piece.
The shoes are from a Canadian brand out of Montreal and I am so glad I found them as I can see myself buying more from them. The shoes are designed in Canada and responsibly made in Italy and Spain. The shoes are leather and not lined in any pleather which for the price is amazing. I would say they are close to the quality of my Everlane shoes without any of the fit issues (Everlane shoes fit small so you have to size up). There are stores opening in Toronto so watch for them at the Eaton Center and Sherway soon! Otherwise you can order online and the prices are really fantastic.
Outfit details: Stripe tee Madewell (similar), suede sleeveless trench Chelsea 28 (there is a fantastic option at Zara right now), red trousers JCREW (old this is a good option), pointed slides l’Intervalle (the ones I have I can’t find anymore but these are similar or I have linked to other options below just click the photos), bag Chloe Paraty (resale options here and here), sunglasses Celine.
If you are looking for similar pointed black slides these are some options, as I mentioned the exact ones I am wearing are no longer available online.
What are you excited to wear to work lately?
