Day trip outfit

I have been spending some time off with my kids this summer and I decided to take them to Stratford. Better known as the birth place of Justin Beiber, it is a quaint town in Southern Ontario that my mom and I used to visit quite often when I was a tween. We went out for lunch, wandered by the river getting followed by hungry ducks and had a fun day.

While originally I thought this stripe dress might be a bit warm for a summer day trip outfit, it turned out to be just fine for being out and about in the morning. Sticking to the shade helped too.

I loved using my hands free Clare V fanny pack for the morning, but I wish I had of taken more time to pack it better! I could have used some cash instead of just putting the usual cards in. I sometimes forget that paid parking still takes coins in small towns. I was so not prepared.
