Slow Transition

August is my favourite month of the summer. It is less humid than June or July and you can transition fall pieces into your wardrobe albeit slowly.

August at the cottage is even better for doing this; it is always about 10 – 15 degrees cooler than the city so by the evening warmer clothing is a must.

I picked up this top at Freda’s and I thought I would have to wait alot longer to wear it as it is definitely a fall top.

Still I packed it for the cottage hoping for the right weather to pull it out and wear it.

So when my family had a dinner planed for my brother’s birthday and it was somewhat cool, this was the first thing I pulled out of my overnight bag.

This top is easily going to be a favourite worn over and over because of the drape. It hides a million sins and is super cozy.

I can envision switching those gladiator sandals for tall boots once I have to give up on sandals in a month or so.
