The New Balance 327 is a mash up of modern and retro sneaker styles. It has an oversized N logo that makes it stand out from other New Balance styles. Sporty and stylish it is no surprise that this style became the one to wear this spring. Sharing my New Balance 327 sneaker review below.
New Balance 327 Sneaker Review
I fell prey to other influencers this spring when the New Balance 327 sneakers were all over instagram. I had lost my Addidas Boost sneakers and I wanted something fashionable to replace them. I loved the look of these sneakers. The mixture of suede, mesh and textile they are a modern update of a retro running shoe.
I have a pair of the Intelligent Choice New Balance collaboration. But there are many other options to choose from. Most are neutral colours (browns, navy, black, grey). You can find some more colourful options as well but I am partial to the neutral styles.
How do the New Balance 327 Fit?
As someone with wide feet I have found that the New Balance retro styles I have tried in the past have fit narrow and a bit small. As a result I usually size up to accommodate my wide foot by half a size. I did not need to do that with the New Balance 327. They fit true to size and are not as narrow fitting as other New Balance styles. Stick with your usual size.
Are the New Balance 327 comfortable?
The New Balance 327 are pretty comfortable. I would put these as a 7.5 on the comfort scale out of 10. I think part of that is because I should have gotten a half size smaller. Still while they come off as sporty these are still a lifestyle or fashion sneaker. My Addidas Boost sneakers are slightly more cushioned in the sole because they are meant for running. But they also my my feet look huge. The New Balance 327 have a nicer balance between looks and comfort. (**2023 update** The New Balance Fresh Foam styles are 10/10 on the comfort scale. If you are looking for a well cushioned shoe these are a better option)
If you are looking for a sneaker that can go on long walks without much breaking in and also looks good these are a great option. These sneakers would be perfect addition to an athelisure outfit. I even like these with jeans which I can’t said for all sneakers. I would pack these sneakers for travel as they are so much cooler and less touristy than the pairs most people wear.
