Paper bag pants two ways ⋆ chic everywhere

It is so easy for us to wear things the same way every week. I think we naturally create a bit of a uniform for ourselves. While this makes getting dressed easy especially when life gets busy it can get too repetitive and monotonous as well.

I thought instead of simply sharing an outfit I would remix that outfit to show how I usually wear it and how I changed it up.

I chose my paper bag pants as the remix item. I usually wear them with a white blouse. I chose my grey suede jacket and wedge espadrilles to go with my trousers.

To switch it up I swapped out my white blouse for a stripey one with ruffle sleeves. I also switched out my wedge heels for pointy toe flat. The result was a comfortable but still polished work outfit.

What I like about this process, forcing myself to think of something different to pair with my paper bag trousers, is that it makes me realize how much bigger my wardrobe really is. Remixing opens up possibilities in a wardrobe, multiplies the outfit possibilities.
