I have some special guest stars on the blog today. My kids are modelling some cute kids Christmas sweaters. While I personally would put myself and my Husband in something red or green, I go a bit more full on festive with my kids. How can I not they are too cute!
My son gets off a bit easy in that he can wear essentially regular school clothes with a Christmas sweater. I love this one because instead of just being Santa or some other Christmas icon it is a snowman which will work all winter. Same with the little cardigan, snowmen are more easily worn all winter as opposed to just Christmas.
My daughter always gets put in some sort of plaid skirt combo because these red or green tartans are perfect for the Christmas season. The cardigan could just as easily go over a sleeveless or sort sleeve dress making it more appropriate for the snowy wintery weather we have around the Holidays.
This is my daughter’s favourite sweater of the two I picked up. She keeps exclaiming how she looks just like a present! Of course that is the idea. The skirt is getting a bit short (definitely the last year for that one) and the stockings are back from when Kate Spade and Gap did the collab, but they still fit! The sweater is a bit thin and see through so you are going to want to have a white shirt to layer underneath.
Every boy parent laments over the fact that there are fewer cute clothes for boys. It is so true I can easily find stuff for my daughter less so for my son. Since he only got one sweater he is here again with his cute toothless grin.
