What I wore

I have three pairs of these pants

The title says it all. I now have the pants in this post in three different colours. I am not sure if it is because I am getting older or what but I have just decided that multiples areĀ  a must when something is this good. I bought the burgundy pair in this post last year. The more I wore these pants the more I wished I had of picked them up in more colours. So when they showed up again this year I immediately ordered them in two more colours; dark green and black.

I was surprised how often I wore velvet pants. They always seem something that are special for occasions. But I found not only were they warm but also fantastic for the office. The pixie pant style has a cleaner look than a velvet jean which makes them transition from the office to evening with ease. And they are so affordable!

What I wore: Pants Old Navy, twist top Gibson, sleeveless coat Asos (old), shoes Nine West (similar here or here), Hat Club Monaco, scarf Free People, bag Opelle.

One of my favourite things about these pants is that they are wash and go. Sometimes wearing something that feels luxurious also has high maintenance. I just put these in the washer and dryer like a pair of jeans. There is no shrinkage and they come out looking fantastic. I wore these pants weekly last winter and they don’t look wore at all.

They are pretty much all sold out. Are you wearing the regular length? They still have some available in tall and it says it is a 30 inch inseam which for me is still a decent length, it just won’t be at my ankle. I’m just not sure if buying the tall will alter the waist and crotch area fit. I’d love to get a pair of these, they look so nice.

I am wearing the regular length and I am 5’4. I would also check in store as they always seem to sell out of things really fast online (GAP too). That said the 30 length for tall would be totally do able as more of a regular length pant as opposed to the more ankle cut like you mentioned. I haven’t tried the tall to know if there is also room elsewhere. Not sure if they provide any general tall measurements in their size descriptions. I hope you can find a pair they are fantastic!!
