I have been ordering and returning bras for the past six months. I couldn’t get anything that satisfied all my criteria. Good fit, nice shape and comfort. It goes without saying they need to actually be supportive. Which it really doesn’t go without saying because I had to return some bras because they didn’t really do the job.
But I was able to finally track down some bras that are really fantastic. These are my top 3 fantastic full figure bras.

- WONDERBRA 1983 No Poke Underwire Bra – When I tried this on I didn’t take it off until it was the end of the day. It has a super soft band making it super comfortable. This bra gives a nice soft round shape which is key. No triangle pointy boobs here! I couldn’t find this one other than at the Bay. Wonderbra doesn’t seem to have the same sort of selection south of the border. Even better this bra is on sale for under $30!
- Basic Beauty Underwire Contour Bra – This was the first of the two bras I tried on and I was thrilled that it fit. It took a bit more adjustments to get everything fitting exactly right but it is another fantastic option. If you are looking for something that is more like a traditional tshirt bra without so much annoying padding (hey full girls don’t need extra padding!) then this is a fantastic option. - Underwire Sports Bra – round up of Top Sports bras for larger chestsI have written about this bra before in my . It is my most worn sports bra because it locks and loads but also has a great fit and shape. Unlike most sports bras which leave you with uni-boob this one does not. If you are Canadian you can buy the bra here. Pick it up in a bold colour if you are worried about it looking like your grandmas bra, which I really do not care about if it makes the girls look good. This bra is part of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale.
