I have been sharing my picks on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for a few years but I thought it might be helpful to have a dedicated page to all things Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Canada. There are a few differences when it comes to shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary sale in Canada which Canadians that want to shop the sale in Canada need to know.
First thing to note is that the Nordstrom anniversary sale has two phases; Early Access and the regular sale also known as Public Access.
What is Early Access and how do I get it?
Early Access is for Nordstrom Card holders only. You get to shop the sale before anyone else but you need to have a Nordstrom credit card and in Canada there is only one option the Nordstrom Visa. Early access starts July 17th in Canadian stores. If you want to shop the sale early and get the goods before they sell out you need to get the card.
The perk about the Nordstrom card is that it is a no fee card and whether you shop at Nordstrom or not you can earn Nordstrom notes. I have a few that I have been saving up to use towards the anniversary sale.
Why does everyone get so excited about shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary sale?
Sales are always fun to shop, but regular sales mean you are essentially shopping leftovers. Sizes are limited and selection is limited. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a sale flipped on reverse. Fall merchandise, NEW merchandise is put on sale before anyone else is even selling new fall clothes and accessories. It means you can get a jump start on the next season before it has even started.
The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is held annually and basically kicks off the fall season.
How do I shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Canada?
Technically Canadians can shop the sale in store. But we can also shop the sale online and the selection is way better. If you are not local to a store I recommend shopping online. However the issue is getting early access online. Generally what I have found is that true early access only works for US shoppers. Canadians have to wait for public access to the sale when we shop online.
What should I buy during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Canada?
